Time for light weight design outdoor rooms
Outdoor gazebos and structures have become widespread and very desirable. Their success can be explained by the fact they are taking on a new role as ‘entertainement hubs’ offering not only shelter from the sun or the wind but also becoming the area to regroup, enjoy drinks, music, lounging etc. Most structures require an army of workmen which makes them costly and very inflexible.
It is time for designers to follow the lead of April Allterior, an emerging brand based in Germany who have designed structure weighing in at 60 kg. ( 9 stones and 6.28 pounds).
